Listening to - nothing
Well whoa. August has come, and with it has come the final stage in becoming an air traffic control specialist trainee. This doesn't make me a controller, this makes me a trainee. It shall be a few years before I become a full fledged controller but it is of course a start.
I am not worried about this final step. I'm more anxious that this is such a life defining moment. Yes - Tuesday can very well decide the next twenty some odd years of my life.
With tomorrow comes some final packing, an international economics exam, haircut, bank, and a flight out to Chicago's Midway Airport. Aiming to get a good nights sleep before getting up around 0830 for my 1000 interview.
Wednesday instead of coming home I've decided to skip my classes back in New York and go visit my sister in Nebraska. I haven't seen her since March and she's basically my twin - just ten years older. I'll want to do any celebrating that's in order with her. The parents, are naturally pissed that I won't be coming home, but they can deal.
I'll also get to see the USAF Thunderbirds on Saturday at the air show at Offutt Air Force Base. It's Air Force Week out there so there are going to be tons of fun stuff to see.
Keep me in your thoughts on Tuesday please.
Expect an update Thursday or Friday on the details of the PEPC.
