Sunset Flight

Listening to - Ben Folds - Losing Lisa

I worked 8-4 today and had a 5 o'clock flight. I had originally planned for HFD as it's a nice 2hr flight. By the time I got to the airport and got to the runway it was 5:30 and it just wasn't gonna work.

I ended up just going out to the South Practice Area and made some turns and flew into the sunset. Ahhh nothing as beautiful as that.

It was beautiful to fly for the sake of flying. The haze was pretty horrible though towards the end of sunset and a landing on runway 24 from out at Calverton required vectors, or in my case I just asked for a practice ILS. I'd say it was a tad bit easier of an approach then Tellers approach to the opposite runway on Friday...

I got an e-mail today to call up and schedule my AT-SAT exam. It's going to be administered in the next town over. Score. Ok, I'm nervous now!

Economics exam tomorrow so I'm off to study finally...
