Whoa...

I just filled out an application for open hiring as an ATCS-T for anywhere in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands.

Talk about taking a risk, eh?

According to the website, I have 9 months to finish my degree from the time I take my AT-CTI placement exam which now puts a time limit on when I need to finish school.

In order for this to time out, I can't take the exam until March 21st at earliest, with a December 21st graduation. I just booked a flight to visit my sister from March 14th-21st so I really hope they don't have the exam like the 18th... Not to mention, it could be in any of the following places;

Seattle, WA
Daytona Beach, FL
New York, NY
Atlanta, GA
Chicago, IL
Houston, TX
Miami, FL
Oakland, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Oklahoma City, OK
Fort Worth, TX

I'll take Daytona, or Miami please... Well I guess NYC would work too, but... lol

It was fun getting to list my ratings and achievements and have them really mean something.

At the same time, this is a major wake up call. Hello real world.

I don't know how many times this opportunity will come up, so I figured let's apply now. There's no rule against applying again, unless I decline an offer of employment.
