Sicilia, Mediterranean Sunrise, and St. Peters at Night

Listening to - As Tall As Lions - Break Blossom

Day 9

Day 10

Day 11

Day 12

Day 13

Here's the last few days of my trip to Italy. My apologies for not putting in captions, but I have limited time here in Italy and I'd rather not spend it putting up captions!

Here's a brief summary of each album though.

Day 9 - The bus ride to Sicily, ending with a beautiful ferry ride to Messina. I am and always will be an Island boy. Love those harbor sunsets.

Day 10 - Taormina and Catania. Taormina sits at the base of Mt. Etna. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Cantania is a larger city that I wasn't too impressed with, hence there aren't any photos from there.

Day 11 - Tindari and Milazzo. Both beautiful small towns. Milazzo is a harbor town. Reminded me of home. Spent a good hour hanging out by the water taking in the sea breeze.

Day 12 - Mediterranean Sunrise. The most beautiful one I've yet to see. It may even challenge Tellers sunrise... The rest of the album is of the trip home and Pompei.

Day 13 - Shortest day yet. View of the outside of the Catacombs and St. Peters Basilica at night.

I loved Sicily. It was my favorite place so far. Wish I could type up more but alas I have work to do. Evidently you need to do some work to get 4 credits....

- Matt

P.S - I've memorized most of the emergency procedures for the Cardinal. 10 hour bus rides are good for something.

I think anything that can be described as "on the Mediterranean" will beat anything I do around here. And that definitely looks like it proves that rule.
